Young Money vs. Abraham Lincoln 2009

I am an avid fan of tattoos i would actually like to get my entire body covered someday in tattoos but these two men are ridiculous. the first tattoo says "Young Money: a term usually associated with Lil' Wayne's popular rap label, and it is tattooed on J.R. Smiths neck one of the NBA's finest sixth men (no homo). Smith happens to be one of my favorite basketball players and he flourishes in the Nuggets system under George Karl but this tattoo is actually ridiculous. why get this tatted on your neck?? why not on your chest somewhere, some would probably answer that question with ease, they would say "well he's 23 and covered so the only spot to get it was the front of his neck." and no people, J.R. Smith is not signed with young money just because he got that tattoo.



now the second tat is absolutely ridiculous and i have no respect for DeShawn Stevenson after seeing this photo, but who am i kidding i didnt have respect for him before the photo. he is a terrible basketball player and still might be overrated. i guess if i sucked and still made millions i'd be biting my tongues because i'd have Mt. Rushmore tattoos on my forehead by now. but cmon DeShawn you gotta do something else with your, let's start by making a jump shot or actually doing something impressive like helping the Wizards get to the playoffs. i also find it funny that he included the two 5's on the side to make it a negro replica of a $5 bill. let's get you act together fellas its time to grow up a little bit or maybe for DeShawn it would be a good idea to retire and try another sport like Water Polo or Olympic Handball, because we all know he can throw a orange ball into a net. The New "Agent 0" & Mt. Blackmore

For those who don;t know "Agent 0" he is Gilbert Arenas one of the NBA's premiere players and arguably the best point guard in the league, competing with the likes of Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Steve Nash and you could even throw in Brandon Jenning's name. Gilbert or Hibachi, as he refers to him self has a new way of conducting himself during post-game press conferences and interviews. He says that he will no longer talk to interviewers after games until his team starts winning. this may seem like an asshole move but i commend him, this is something only someone as influential to his ball club, as Gilbert is to the Wizards or Chad Ochocinco to the Bengals, can do because they put in the hard work and effort and show the leadership that is needed to improve a team. another thing that Gilbert earns from these shenanigans is a stronger fan base and some swag points, i can;t name one another person in the league that would that besides maybe the Big Diesel or SHAQ. another thing that brought the media around gilbert besides is pure skill and talent is his new tattoo that he got during the off season. he got a leg sleeve and he calls it "Mt. Blackmore:



the picture shows Malcolm X but all over his legs are pics of other influential African Americans. nobody can pull these things off and receive the feedback that "Agent 0" does. I LIKE IT GILBERT KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK...what will he do next?...

Everyone who is at least a slight sneaker fan should know what sneakers these are! for those losers that dont know these are one of the best created Jordan's ever The Space Jams, yes people the ones that he wore in the movie. the come out during the stretch prior to Christmas so kids beg your parents and parents hide your credit cards. As a huge fan of LeBron James i can only help but wonder if LeBron will ever be on the same level as MJ in the sneaker game, he has impressed the sneaker fan with his sneakers 1 through 7. Put this number one on your Christmas list and make some good ass cookies that night and hope that old Saint Nick brings you a pair for $175 because if not you gonna be paying close to $260. Cmon people lets put another couple million in MJ's pocket for Christmas Spirit!!

Wiz Khalifa - "Flight School"

taking it way back yall...today im talking about Taylor Gang's Wiz Khalifa and his mix tape (arguably) his best one, "Flight School". this is the typical Wiz Khalifa we all know but at the same time it another side to him we never experience. every track from 1-21 are all single material. he has the one track "Wussup" which he performs in a music video with his other song "Name On A Cloud" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87AXdl3NgR0). he introduces another type of swag into the rap game. the good thing is he doesnt only rap about how many bitches and swag he has in every song. he is what the game needs, a young entertainer who can actually spit something lyrical. he catches the eye with his eye popping tattoos which cover virtually his entire body from head to toe. straight out of Pittsburgh, PA we have a star in the making attracting a good fan base from multiple races. another thing that is good about Wiz Khalifa's music is that you can it back and relax and listen to what hes saying. he chooses smooth beats and lets you understand what all of his metaphors mean. right now he is in my top 5 favorite rappers along with Lil' Wayne, Drake, Wale and Jadakiss. with this mix tape he was putting his name out in the sea and then kept releasing great music with his mix tape "B.A.R." and his album "Deal Or No Deal". the only question that remains about Young Khalifa is "where will his next tattoo be?"

my mothers surprise birthday

for a month and a half me and bunch of my family members have been planning this surprise birthday party for my mother. i had to burn 400 discs and create labels and CD cases and purchase and brand new royal blue iPod Nano (5th generation). oh yeah the reason we went all out was because it was her 50th birthday. i also had to creat a slideshow with pictures of my mother from when sh was just a baby until her adulthood today. the party had been all planned out the guestlist made and every thing that had been planned was not done and set. the actual party was on novemeber 7th although her birthday is on novemeber 2nd. me my girlfriend and my cousin shinka walked to the venue at 7 and we helped set up with a lot of my family. my mom was scheduled to arrived at 8 so everyone was hurry to make sure that this was picture perfect. the food was all setup and the smell of potato salad, macaroni salad,baked chicken, fish, yellow rice, string beans, cornbread, macaroni and cheese, bbq chicken, and sweet corn filled the room. when she didn't show up at 8 people started getting rowdy and by this time about half of the drinks virgin and not virgin had already been consumed. it had been an hour now 9 o'clock every is waiting on my mom to arrive and starting to get pissed and kinda worried. my sister was ordered to called my mother and figure out where she was and lure her towards the venue. she was located and on her way to the party. it was 9:30 and we were all told that she was coming up the steps we turned the lights off and stood in silence. as she walked in the room...SURPRISE! The room lit up and I don't know if was excitement from my mother or for the fact that they could finally eat food. after the noise died down my mom announced that she came at 9:30 on purpose and she was fucking with us the whole time! she had known about the fucking party since October 15th...unsurprisngly the party still went on great but some people were disappointed I myself enjoyed the macaroni and cheese and assortment of beverages.
